It's been a while......

It was way back in 2020 when I started this site and in 2021, after a pretty decent run it ended. It was a pretty tumultuous time for everyone all over the world and this site was a nice way to share my love of Vegas and many other things with a lot of people. The feedback was good and looking back, the posts were actually not too bad. I had started a Podcast too, all these things to fill the void created from that shall not be named.

So what happened?

Well, I actually succeeded in getting the line manager job I'd mentioned in an earlier blog and whereas it was great for career progression and more money for Vegas, this on top of the extra qualification I was (and still am) studying it took away a lot of my time. The podcasts did continue for a while and in 2022 after the initial hiccup of someone getting infected resulting in an unplanned reschedule, we started to go back to Vegas .

If you want to know more about post-2021 trips there's the YouTube videos and podcasts to view and listen to. I will probably add more on here too reflecting on all the trips we've had since we were allowed to travel again.

We are coming up to trip number 10 in September and to celebrate this I've created a new Black Country Vlogger Facebook page to help with engagement and promotion (https://www.facebook.com/BCVlogger), for some reason I've had to port my old Podcasts to YouTube so I'm sharing these again with people who may not have listened first time around and you can see, this site is back up and running.

A lot has happened since 2021, not just with me but with the Vegas vlogging community and of course with Vegas itself. Some good, some not so good and to be honest, some down right devastating.

The up and coming blogs are going to be a mix of life, travel, tips, tricks, opinions and I will always continue to be my brutally open and honest self so hopefully you'll all come and jump back aboard the blog train (wow that's cheesy) for a ride that hopefully will last longer than last time.
