This plug needs a 13A fuse...

It's Sunday the 16th May and even though I knew it was going to happen, the June trip to Vegas has been cancelled. Thanks to some advice on Twitter, I'm going to call up Virgin and try for a rebook to October even though it's far more expensive. We're also looking at Valentines week 2022 as that's not too expensive.

I'm still pretty disappointed but obviously I'm not the only person this has happened to and I won't be the last. The crappy unpredictable weather isn't helping my mood and even though it was fun doing the Blackcurrant Jaffa Cake tasting video on Facebook and it received a lot of positive comments, I've been struggling to maintain a positive attitude.

When I last went to Vegas I'd created myself a t-shirt to wear, Black Country Vlogger merch you'd call it but I never bothered making it available to anyone else (I did do a Black Country Vlogger Senior one for my dad which he loves). Hog and 2cent, Pennys4Vegas and Matt Bridger have a few t-shirts available to buy so I thought I'd set up a Red Bubble shop -

Basically, you create designs then leave it to Red Bubble to put it on all manner of things from t-shirts, to pillows and even shower curtains which people can buy. It's all print on demand so no money is wasted on stock. I have also recently attempted to sell baseball caps. Red Bubble don't do caps so I've had to do that differently. Thanks to all the people who ordered the caps - as soon as they're made I'll send them out.

I understand not everyone wants to wear a t-shirt with my logo on it and even fewer would want one with my face on so as well as those designs I've created some Vegas specific ones too and I'll add more to the shop each month and I'll be promoting one design a week.

With around 350 YouTube subscribers I know I'm small fry in the big YouTube pond but it's been fun and the comments are genuinely really nice and for that I'm grateful. I'm hoping things improve this second half of the year - I'll look to doing a few more Facebook and YouTube videos in the future and as I said last week, the blogs will continue with the next few being reviews.

Something to look forward to is the Netflix movie Army Of The Dead. A Zack Snyder movie ( the guy responsible for the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead which was pretty good from what I remember) Army Of The Dead is billed as a zombie-heist movie based in Vegas. The trailer looks like it's going to be a fun movie. I have slight reservations over what looks like to be organised 'intelligent' zombies but that was touched upon in the Land Of The Dead so it's not a completely new concept. The movie is out on Friday 21st May and I think I'll review it on here.
