Why would I want to go to Vegas?

Why would I want to go to Vegas? There's nothing there that interests me. I don't gamble apart from the odd bet on the Grand National and I once went to a casino in Walsall and played Roulette but that's about it. I don't drink much (honest) and I'm definitely not a clubber so the clubbing scene really isn't for me. There's not much else in Vegas apart from big casinos and the Bellagio Fountains. Everybody knows the Bellagio Fountains. No, it's not for me.

So, you may ask. Why did I go and more importantly why did I then keep going, vlog about it and become part of a big friendly community of Vegas fans if it's 'NOT FOR ME'.

This post is the first in a series of blogs that I'm planning to write about why I went to Vegas and how I, like many was so wrong when it came to my preconceptions of Las Vegas. I know a lot of people reading this are those who already love Vegas but those that come upon this blog that wonder what all the fuss is about and why I don't shut up about it then it may hopefully be an interesting read. I'm not here to try and change minds but I just want to show you that there's a lot these TV shows and documentaries don't show you and it's actually these things and more that I love about Las Vegas.
